Seaweed Extract (Gracilaria Verrucosa)

Seaweed has recently been found to be very beneficial in skin care. It hydrates and smooths the skin, contains anti-bacterial qualities and supports detoxification. It’s also anti-inflammatory and helps with skin renewal.

Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis)

Aloe vera is an ancient healing plant well known as an ideal natural remedy for all kinds of skin problems. It moisturises the skin, supports the healing of wounds and has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. This makes the plant especially useful for sensitive areas, like underarms.

Natural Mineral Salt (Potassium alum)

Mineral salt occurs naturally as crystals on rocks. This salt has been used for thousands of years in Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Rome, and in ancient Egypt. Its ability to inhibit bacterial growth made it one of the world’s first deodorants. Natural mineral salt is also an astringent that tightens the outer layer of the skin tissue, giving the skin additional protection.

Distilled Water (Aqua des)

Water dissolves the ingredients and makes Bali Secrets’ Natural Deodorant fluid and easy to apply.

Alcohol (Ethanol 70%)

We also add a small amount of alcohol which serves as a preservative and helps to extract the active ingredients in the plant essences. In their dissolved forms these substances deliver their healing properties in a smooth, efficient way.

Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera)

We use Coconut Oil as a carrier oil for the essential oils. This gives our deodorants their lovely scents. The benefits of Coconut oil are widely touted and well known. Our high quality, locally produced oil is 100% skin friendly and adds a subtle tropical note to the scent blends.

Essential Oils

To achieve a variety of lovely scents, we add several different essences to the formula. These are not only responsible for the pleasant scent, they also serve as natural preservatives. Real natural cosmetic products contain no synthetic preservatives, reducing the risk of unknown side-effects. Mother Nature produces its own preservatives which we use to keep our deodorant fresh and usable for a long time.
